As part of the National Eating Disorders Awareness Week, join us for an inclusive conversation about how body image and eating concerns impact our lives, no matter our multicultural identities. We’ll discuss current research and trends and also push back against stereotypes about what disordered eating and body image concerns look like across race, gender, and sexuality.

We’ll also talk about the messages we regularly receive in the media and in our communities about eating, food, and weight. Come prepared to learn, discuss, and engage with others about this important topic; and expect to leave with tools for supporting the people in your lives who may be struggling with these issues. #ComeAsYouAreGMU  #Nedawareness #LoveYourBodyWeek2019
