The staff of Counseling and Psychological Services provides consultation services to faculty and staff to assist in their work with students. Β Counselors provide mental health education training and consultation to faculty on how to assist students with problems that affect the learning process and how to respond to crisis situations. Β Consultation on learning styles, adjustment to college, human relations issues, and other mental health topics is also available.
WeΒ also provide community education programs to the university community on a variety of topics. Β Presentations to classes or groups on mental health, personal development, and academic skills topics are available. Β To ensure our availability, we suggest that requests for presentations should be made a minimum of three weeks in advance of the anticipated program date. Β Please note that during times of high demand, it may not be possible to fill all outreach requests.
