Senior Psychologist
Diana Davis (she/her) is a licensed clinical psychologist. She received her Doctor of Psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, FL. She completed her internship at the University of Kentucky’s Counseling Center and her post-doctoral fellowship at Temple University’s Tuttleman Counseling Services. She has worked in community mental health centers and private practice, but her favorite work setting is in college counseling centers. Diana is passionate about serving the mental health needs of the college student population. She practices primarily from a cognitive therapeutic orientation, though she incorporates other methods. Her clinical interests include mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, and relationship distress.
Diana’s supervisory orientation is primarily process-oriented within a developmental framework while incorporating techniques from several theoretical backgrounds. Her supervision focuses on case conceptualization within an integrated framework with strong emphasis on cultural considerations, and encouraging supervisees to reflect on their own interpersonal process and presence in the clinical space. Her primary goal as a supervisor is to facilitate supervisees’ development of their own clinical identity and well-founded confidence in their clinical skills. Her primary focus is in fostering an environment in which feedback is encouraged and supervisees can be their authentic selves.
