Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Coordinator, Outreach Services

Tory Huesgen is a licensed clinical social worker in Virginia. She received her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland in Baltimore. During her master’s program, she completed two CWSE-accredited internships at The University of Maryland School Mental Health Program and the intensive outpatient program at Washington Hospital Center. Since then, she worked as a crisis hotline coordinator for a suicide prevention program, medical social worker, and in private practice settings. Tory uses a holistic, strengths-based approach in order to help students cultivate change. She believes in creating a trusting, safe, and collaborative working relationship with students. She works from an integrative framework, using her training to tailor treatment to student’s personal needs. Tory’s professional interests include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, transitional issues, and trauma. In her free time, Tory enjoys live music, reading memoirs, the feeling after running, but not running itself, and all dogs.
