Psychology Intern
Shereen Ayoubi is a psychology intern at George Mason University’s CAPS. She attended GMU for undergrad where she earned her B.A. in psychology with concentrations in developmental and health psychology, and a minor in human development and family science. She earned her Master’s in Psychology from George Washington University, where she is currently completing her doctoral degree in clinical psychology. Shereen was previously a psychology extern at GMU’s CAPS before joining as an intern. She has experience working in outpatient community mental health clinics with individuals ranging from adolescence through adulthood. Her professional interests include trauma, anxiety, relational concerns, diversity and multicultural issues, and stigma reduction. Shereen enjoys working with clients of all backgrounds and helping them to navigate the world within their particular context and layers of intersectionality.
