Psychology Intern
Bianca is a Psychology Intern currently completing her PhD in Counseling Psychology from Howard University. She holds a Masters of Education in Community Counseling from Loyola University Chicago and has worked as a licensed clinician in the DMV area. Bianca attended Kennesaw State University in Atlanta, Ga for her undergraduate studies and enjoys working with students. She has experience working in children’s hospitals, medical outpatient mental healthcare facilities, university counseling centers, and private practices with families and individuals from early childhood to late adulthood. Bianca’s professional interests include diversity and multicultural concerns, spirituality, life transitions, relational issues, depression, anxiety, graduate student self-efficacy development, and career counseling. She uses an integrative approach to therapy rooted in psychodynamic, relational-cultural, and values based perspectives to support students’ understanding of themselves. Bianca enjoys working with clients from varying backgrounds and intersecting identities, supporting them as they grow into the person they want to become.
