Psychology Intern

Julia Wall, M.S., is a psychology intern at CAPS. She earned bachelor’s degrees in psychology and criminology & criminal justice from the University of Maryland and her master’s degree in clinical psychology from Loyola University Maryland, where she is currently pursuing her doctoral degree.

Julia has provided clinical services across a variety of settings, including college counseling, community mental health, private practice, and residential treatment. In these roles, she has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds, providing individual and family therapy, facilitating group therapy, and conducting psychoeducational assessments.

Julia takes an integrative, collaborative approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and person-centered principles to support meaningful and lasting change. She is particularly passionate about helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, adjustment concerns, and a range of other mental health challenges. Julia strives to create a warm, supportive, and affirming therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to work toward their personal goals.

Outside of her clinical work, Julia enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her rescue dogs, Otis and Dobby.
