Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides consultation services to faculty and staff on how to assist students with problems that affect the learning process, how to respond to crisis situations, and other mental health topics.
CAPS also provides community education programs to classes or groups on mental health management, personal development, and relational concerns. To ensure our availability, we suggest that requests for presentations be made a minimum of three weeks in advance of the anticipated program date. Please note that during times of high demand, it may not be possible to fill all community education requests.
We will only be accepting outreach requests for the fall semester until Monday, November 17, 2025. Exceptions may be made in the event of urgent or time-sensitive situations, which will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. In those cases, please contact Calena Creft, Assistant Director of Outreach Services at [email protected]. Outreach requests for the spring semester will be accepted starting on Monday, November 3, 2025.
