Licensed Professional Counselor

Catherine is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Purdue University and a Master’s degree in Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Catherine has experience working with adolescents, LGBTQIA+ populations, at-risk youth, individuals in crisis, and trauma. She has primarily worked in various hospital settings; working on mood, medical/geriatric, acute, adolescent, and pediatric units. She has experience in individual, group, and family therapy. Additionally, Catherine has worked in residential treatment and private practice.

Catherine integrates person-centered, mindfulness, existentialism, solution-focused, strengths-based approaches rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), through a multicultural lens. Her interests are in identity exploration, depression, anxiety, and life transitions.

Catherine loves spending time with family, friends, and traveling near and far in her spare time. She has the utmost respect for the courage and vulnerability required to participate in therapy. Congratulations on taking the first daunting steps on your journey!
