Kheia is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Virginia. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Hampton University and her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Kheia completed her internship with National Counseling Group which is a community mental health provider and completed her counseling residency with the Prince William County Community Services Board. Kheia has primarily worked in community mental health settings but also has experience working private practice settings as well. Kheia operates from an integrative theoretical orientation, incorporating cognitive-behavioral theory, solution focused therapy and a person-centered approach, with an emphasis on multicultural concerns. Areas of interest include anxiety and mood disorders, identity and self-exploration and interpersonal conflicts and concerns.
