Emily M. Rieve, LCSW, CTS

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Emily Rieve is a licensed clinical social worker and a certified trauma specialist in Virginia. She completed her Masters in Social Work from George Mason University. She completed her CSWE-accredited internships at Arlington County Department of Human Services Multicultural Program and Fairfax County Community Services Board Behavioral Outpatient and Community Readiness and Support Programs. She then went on to work in a variety of settings including, providing behavioral modification and family support through a local in-home program, working as a residential therapist for Fairfax County, and most recently as an outpatient individual and group therapist for Prince William Community Services Board. She is trained in a number of evidence based treatments including, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, trauma therapy, and group therapy. Emily uses a person-centered, solution focused, collaborative approach to help clients work to meet their goals. Emily’s professional interests are social justice and advocacy, trauma and the brain, PTSD, and expressive arts.
